Drug Lord Koko Erwin Transferred to Bima District Attorney's Office

Suspected drug lord Koko Erwin has been handed over by police investigators to the Bima District Attorney’s Office (Kejari Bima). He follows suspects Malaungi and Didik Putra Kuncoro, who were previously transferred in connection with the narcotics trafficking case.

“Yes, that’s correct. The handover took place today,” said Head of the Bima District Attorney’s Office, Heru Kamarullah, when confirmed on Wednesday (24/6/2026).

Heru further revealed that alongside Koko Erwin, the prosecutor’s office also received a suspect named Akhsan, also known as Genda, from National Police investigators. Genda is a drug courier within Koko Erwin’s network.

“There was also the handover of evidence, including cash and vehicles,” he stated.

Heru confirmed that following the official transfer, the two suspects, Koko Erwin and Genda, are now officially detainees of the Bima District Attorney’s Office. They will subsequently be temporarily held at the Bima Detention Centre (Rutan Bima).

“We will conduct an examination first. After that, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) will prepare the indictment to be submitted to the court so that both can be brought to trial,” he asserted.

During the handover from investigators to the public prosecutor, Koko Erwin was observed wearing all-black attire, including a hat, shirt, trousers, and sandals. Meanwhile, Genda wore a new blue denim jacket and shorts with black sandals. Both were seen accompanied by their legal counsel.

Prior to Koko Erwin and Genda, the Bima District Attorney’s Office had already received the transfer of suspect Malaungi, the former Head of the Narcotics Unit at the Bima City Police, on Tuesday (9/6/2026). Meanwhile, suspect Didik Putra Kuncoro, the former Bima City Police Chief, was transferred on Thursday (18/6/2026).
