Drug Fugitive Andre The Doctor Arrives at Bareskrim with Hands in Handcuffs and Legs Bandaged

Fugitive in the drug case, Andre Fernando ‘The Doctor’, has arrived at Bareskrim Polri after being captured in Malaysia. Upon arrival at the location, Andre was transported by officers using a wheelchair. Observations by detikcom at the scene on Monday (6/4/2026) showed Andre arriving around 19:26 WIB. He was escorted by police in a vehicle and then taken to the Bareskrim building. Both of Andre’s calves appeared to be wrapped in bandages. He arrived wearing a black shirt and shorts. Andre occasionally bowed his head. He said nothing as he was led inside by the officers. Subsequently, his hands were in a bound position. He only looked down listlessly and remained silent as he was escorted. Captured in Malaysia Previously, Bareskrim Polri arrested Andre ‘The Doctor’, a fugitive drug lord. Andre is a drug lord also connected to the Ko Erwin network. ‘It is true that on Sunday, 5 April 2026, the wanted person named Andre Fernando alias Charlie alias The Doctor was successfully captured,’ stated the Director of Narcotics Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Eko Hadi. Eko said Andre was captured by a joint team from Bareskrim and Polri’s International Relations Division on Sunday (5/4) in Penang, Malaysia. Now Andre has been brought to Indonesia. ‘Currently, the wanted person is en route to Indonesia by flight, escorted by officers,’ he said. Supplier of Sabu to the Ko Erwin Network Andre Fernando is known to reside in the Cempaka Baru area, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. ‘The Doctor’ has physical characteristics of 165 cm height, approximately 70 kg weight, short black hair, and sallow skin. Andre Fernando became a wanted person in the narcotics case involving drug lord Ko Erwin. The Ko Erwin case also implicated former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro and former Bima City Police Narcotics Unit Head AKP Malaungi. Andre is said to be the figure who supplied the sabu purchased by Ko Erwin for distribution in the Bima area, NTB. Ko Erwin is known to have conducted two transactions with Andre in January 2026. The first transaction was worth Rp 400 million for 2 kg of sabu. Then, the second transaction was Rp 400 million for 3 kg of sabu received. Andre, known by the nickname ‘The Doctor’, played the role of a distributor who brought drugs into Indonesia via land routes and cargo. ‘Ko Andre or ’The Doctor’ supplied various types of drugs, including sabu, vapes containing etomidate, and happy water,’ said Eko. Ko Andre, continued Eko, has a network in the Riau region. He imported vape cartridges containing etomidate branded Ferrari and Lamborghini via sea routes from Malaysia through Dumai, Riau. ‘Whereas for (shipments of) the narcotic type sabu, most are sent using cash cargo that is packed (then) inserted into dolls and wrapped in gift boxes,’ Eko revealed.
