Drowsy driver causes truck carrying Hebel blocks to crash into a warung and three motorbikes in Bogor

A single truck loaded with Hebel blocks struck a roadside warung and three motorcycles on Jalan Raya Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) in Cigombong district, Bogor Regency. The incident occurred at about 04:30 WIB and is believed to have been caused by the truck driver falling asleep. Acting Head of the Gakkum Unit of Bogor Police Traffic Directorate IPDA Ares Rachman said the accident happened as the truck was travelling from Sukabumi toward Bogor, veering and hitting the warung and three parked motorcycles on the right-hand side of the road, with the yellow truck, plate F-9182-OT, ending up inverted, its front and rear wheels in the air. The crash collapsed the warung and damaged the three parked motorcycles. The truck overturned. There were no casualties or injuries. There were no fatalities; material losses were around Rp 50 million, affecting the warung and the three motorcycles at the scene.
