Drowned officer found

JAKARTA (JP): Suhana, alias Surono, who drowned on Sunday in
Jakarta Bay, was found dead by a local fisherman yesterday on the
Cilincing beach, North Jakarta.

A friend of the victim, Dai, confirmed the dead body was
Suhana's.

Dai said yesterday that he, the victim and two other friends,
Yatno and Warto, were fishing in a boat off the Cilincing beach
on Sunday when Surono fell from the boat into the sea.

"We decided to stop fishing to tie the boat to wooden poles on
the beach. Surono fell overboard but we were unable to help him
as big waves swept him away before we could reach him," Dai said.

Surono, a resident of Jl. Pramuka, East Jakarta, is an
employee of PT Kerta Gaya Perkasa. Dai said the victim had
planned to get married to his girl friend in the next two
