Drought Spreads, Lumajang Residents Begin Receiving Clean Water Aid
The dry season has begun to affect several areas in Lumajang Regency. To assist residents struggling to obtain clean water, aid distribution has commenced in villages categorised as drought-prone. The Lumajang Regency Government, through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), initiated the clean water distribution as a drought risk mitigation effort. This follows temporary data collection which identified around 250 locations prone to clean water crises across 19 villages in six sub-districts.
