Drought has affected 10 subdistricts in Bogor Regency since early June, leaving a total of 22,065 residents across 17 villages struggling to access clean water. M Adam Hamdani, Head of Emergency and Logistics at the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), stated on Sunday (12/7/2026) that 6,333 households have been impacted. Clean water distribution has been carried out at 41 affected locations, with a total of 200,000 litres, equivalent to 40 tanker deliveries, distributed so far. Adam noted that the figures represent data recorded from 10 June to 11 July, and do not yet include water distributed on the day of the report. Distribution activities on Sunday were focused on three villages across three subdistricts: Rancabungur, Babakan Madang, and Leuwisadeng.
