Drivers Using Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Must Note Roadwork Locations This Week
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is conducting preventive maintenance on the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road. The maintenance involves road pavement reconstruction at several specific points.
Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, stated that these works are part of an effort to maintain service quality and ensure optimal road conditions. “As an effort to maintain the quality of toll road services, JTT will carry out pavement reconstruction works at several points along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section,” Amri said on Monday (18/05/2026).
He noted that during the works, traffic will be managed situationally to ensure the safety of road users while maintaining smooth vehicle flow. JTT has identified three specific reconstruction points on the Japek Toll road:
Km 26+895 to Km 26+945, Lane A towards Cikampek, Lane 1: Work begins Monday (18/05/2026) at 22:00 WIB and continues until Friday (22/05/2026) at 14:00 WIB.
Km 37+735 to Km 37+505, Lane B towards Jakarta, Lane 1: Reconstruction runs from Monday (18/05/2026) at 10:00 WIB until Saturday (23/05/2026) at 19:00 WIB.
Km 57+820 to Km 57+785, Lane B towards Jakarta, Lane 1: Work begins Monday (18/05/2026) at 08:00 WIB and continues until Sunday (24/05/2026) at 02:00 WIB.
Ria Marlinda Paallo, Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, stated that routine maintenance is a preventive measure to maintain service quality. “This routine maintenance is a preventive step continuously undertaken by JTT to ensure the toll road condition remains excellent and comfortable for travel,” said Ria.
Ria added that during the works, JTT has prepared situational traffic engineering schemes and ensured that the work areas are equipped with safety devices in accordance with operational standards. Information regarding the works will be communicated via Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), the official Jasa Marga Group social media accounts, and advisory banners around the work sites.
JTT also advises road users to plan their travel times, ensure both vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition, maintain a safe distance, and obey traffic signs and instructions from officers on the ground.
