Drawing Number 2, Jona Ready to Become Symbol of Unity for BPP Hipmi
Jakarta – Ade Jona Prasetyo, the candidate for General Chairman (Caketum) of BPP Hipmi, has received number 2 in the contestation. He believes that based on numerology, the number 2 symbolises cooperation, partnership, and diplomatic ability. Jona is optimistic about becoming a symbol of unity for Hipmi.
The stages of the 18th National Deliberation (Munas) XVIII of Hipmi have gone through the drawing of numbers, held at Djakarta Theater on Friday, 24 April 2026. After drawing number 2, Jona emphasised the importance of togetherness in building Hipmi moving forward.
“This number 2 is not just a number, but a symbol that we walk side by side. Let us unite, with new energy for Hipmi forever. We advance together,” said Jona in his statement on Friday, 24 April 2026.
According to Jona, this contestation is not about personal competition, but rather a momentum to strengthen the organisation’s foundation nationally. Moreover, every Regional Management Board (BPD) from Sabang to Merauke plays an important role for Indonesia.
“Hipmi is our big home for all of us. I want to ensure that all regions feel ownership, feel heard, and become part of this great journey,” he said.
For information, besides being accompanied by his success team, Jona was also supported by several General Chairmen of the Regional Management Boards (BPD) Hipmi from Sumatra to Papua. Jona’s team believes that the number 2 is not only an identity in this contestation but can also be interpreted as a symbol of diplomacy and collaboration.
The number 2 is also seen as a middle path, often interpreted as a position that embraces all groups. This can be seen from the buzz of hundreds of Jona’s supporters present at Djakarta Theater, creating a warm atmosphere full of solidarity.
