Drama on KRL Green Line This Morning: Serpong-Tanah Abang Route Disrupted

KCI Vice President of Corporate Secretary, Karina Amanda, stated when contacted on Tuesday (12/5/2026): “We apologise for the operational disruption that occurred this morning on KA1635B train from Serpong to Tanah Abang at Serpong Station, which is currently being handled by our staff.” The cause of the disruption is not yet known. KCI stated that the disruption is currently being managed by the team. “There is a technical issue with the KA1635B KRL; the cause of the technical disruption is still under investigation and being addressed by technicians,” she explained. KCI assured that passengers heading to Tanah Abang Station can still use subsequent KRL trains departing from Parung Panjang Station or Rangkas Bitung Station. KCI apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption. Currently, KRL services on the Tanah Abang route are still operating, but with delays. “Commuter Line services to Tanah Abang Station remain available, but there are delays due to this morning’s operational disruption,” she said. Meanwhile, several KRL users have complained that their journeys are delayed due to the disruption.
