DPR's Baleg Ensures BPJS Is Included in the PPRT Bill

The House of Representatives’ Legislation Body (Baleg) has assured that BPJS will be included in the RUU PPRT (Rancangan Undang-Undang Pelindungan Pekerja Rumah Tangga). Baleg members said the draft law will provide social protection for domestic workers via BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The PPRT bill seeks to regulate and safeguard the rights of domestic workers, including health protection and other social security provisions. The move comes as part of ongoing deliberations on the RUU PPRT, reflecting a push to strengthen protections for workers in private households.
