The Special Committee on Parking (Pansus) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD plans to involve the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) and the Financial Audit Board (BPK) to trace the flow of approximately 40 percent of Blok M parking revenues suspected of not entering the Regional Original Revenue (PAD).

Ahmad Lukman Jupiter, Chairman of the DPRD DKI Jakarta Special Committee on Parking, stated that they would recommend an investigation to the Kejati DKI Jakarta because the parking managers have been deemed uncooperative in providing the financial data requested by the committee.

“I think it’s possible; we will communicate this recommendation to the high prosecutor’s office so that it can be carried out,” Jupiter said when confirmed by Kompas.com via telephone on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

“We will hand over the recommendation to the high prosecutor’s office for investigation and probe. Then, let the high prosecutor’s office request it from this third party,” he added.

Jupiter assessed that the parking managers’ refusal to open the requested documents raises suspicions of deviations in the management of parking revenues.

“There must be deviations there,” he said.

He stated that the committee would also involve the BPK to conduct a comprehensive audit because the parking management involves assets owned by the regional government.

“Yes, yes. We are firm and consistent in recommending to law enforcement authorities, including the BPK, to conduct an audit,” Jupiter said.

“Why involve the BPK? Because there are regional government assets involved,” he added.

Jupiter also suspects indications of data manipulation and tax embezzlement in the parking management in the area.

“The BPK has the authority for comprehensive audits, as well as cooperation with the Kejati DKI because there is collaboration on manipulation and tax embezzlement,” he said.

Previously, the DPRD DKI Jakarta Special Committee on Parking revealed that the potential parking revenue in the Blok M area reaches more than Rp 3 billion per month or around Rp 100 million per day.

However, the deposits received by the regional government are said not to reach 60 percent of the actual turnover.

In the committee meeting, the DPRD DKI Jakarta requested financial reports, company balance sheets, account mutations, and tax payment proofs. However, these documents have not been fully provided by the management side.

The DPRD DKI Jakarta also suspects that the state has suffered losses of up to Rp 50 billion over approximately 15 years of parking management in the Blok M area.
