DPRD Chairman states that Praka Farizal fell in a world peace mission

Kulon Progo (ANTARA) - The Chairman of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Aris Syarifuddin, stated that Praka Farizal Rhomadhon was one of the nation’s best sons who fell in a world peace mission. “Today I paid condolences to the late Praka Farizal Rhomadhon, one of the nation’s best sons who fell in a peace mission,” Aris said after paying condolences at the home of the late Praka Farizal in Ledok Hamlet, Sidorejo Ward, Lendah, Kulon Progo, on Wednesday. Praka Farizal, who was part of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), fell due to artillery fire in southern Lebanon on Sunday (29/3). According to him, the late Corporal who fell in the peace mission is certainly part of the form of love and the state’s goals, one of which is to create world peace. “He fell in a world peace mission; we can only pray that his soul is accepted by His side,” he said. He stated that the family left behind should be given strength and patience. “And of course, we also hope that the government will expedite the return of the body to the homeland,” he said. “Because this is also part of our respect as a nation to him who fell; in this context, it is part of honouring our nation’s name,” he said. Observations at the mourning house showed that condolences continued to arrive to express grief to Praka Farizal’s family; besides the Chairman of the DPRD of Kulon Progo, several officials were also reported to be paying condolences at the mourning house.
