DPRD Chairman Appreciates Bogor's Cooperative Movement During Harkopnas Commemorative Walk

Bogor City DPRD Chairman, Dr. Adityawarman Adil, attended a Healthy Walk activity in commemoration of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) in 2026. The event was organised by the Regional Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dekopinda) of Bogor City on Sunday, 12 July 2026.

This year’s 79th National Cooperative Day commemoration carried the theme ‘Empowered Cooperatives, Victorious Indonesia’. The healthy walk activity took a route starting from the Bogor City Health Office and ending in the Bogor City Hall area. Hundreds of participants, consisting of cooperative activists and the general public, enthusiastically took part in the event from the morning.

Bogor City DPRD Chairman, Dr. Adityawarman Adil, expressed appreciation for the holding of the walk in conjunction with the 79th Harkopnas. In his view, the step taken by Dekopinda was very appropriate in combining aspects of physical health with economic strengthening.

“This is a very good step. In order to improve the economic health of residents, one must first be healthy in body and spirit,” said Adityawarman.

Adityawarman also emphasised the importance of the role of cooperatives in supporting the welfare of the people of Bogor. “With a healthy and fit body through this healthy walk activity, it is hoped that cooperative administrators and members will have new energy to advance the regional economy,” he said.
