DPRD Bogor Chair: Inauguration a Momentum to Strengthen Bureaucratic Performance

Bogor City DPRD Chairman Adityawarman Adil attended the inauguration of high-ranking pratama officials, functional officials, and school principals within the Bogor City Government on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Several high-ranking positions were definitively filled during the ceremony, including Rudi Mashudi as Head of the Environmental Agency (DLH) and Pupung as Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP). Rudiyana was also inaugurated as an Expert Staff to the Mayor alongside hundreds of functional officials and school principals. Adityawarman Adil congratulated the newly inaugurated heads of agencies. He expressed hope that the inauguration would serve as a momentum to strengthen the performance of the apparatus while encouraging better regional development. “May you always be granted smoothness and ease in carrying out this mandate. Congratulations on carrying out the mandate to improve public services in your respective sectors for the beloved citizens of Bogor City,” he said. On the same occasion, Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim expressed hope that the new officials would meet public expectations through improved performance. He specifically tasked the new Kasatpol PP with strengthening the enforcement of public order and the arrangement of street vendors. Dedie noted that Pupung had served as acting head of the unit for several months, expressing confidence that he would carry out his duties wholeheartedly and maximise his authority to ensure better urban planning. In the environmental sector, Dedie assessed that Rudi Mashudi faces significant challenges. He requested that Rudi continue the waste management foundation that had been pioneered, including overseeing the development of the Waste-to-Energy Processing (PSEL) project. The Bogor City Government is scheduled to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the PSEL project on 8 July 2026, with the physical construction process projected to take an intensive 1.5 years. However, Dedie reminded that the success of the PSEL depends not only on physical and technological readiness but also on human resources. The Environmental Agency is required to educate the public to cultivate waste sorting from the source using the 3R principle directly from households. Regarding other vacant structural positions, the City Government confirmed that the competency assessment process is underway and is expected to take one to two weeks before a subsequent inauguration is held.
