The House of Representatives (DPR) will hold its 19th plenary session of the fifth session period, 2025-2026, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the session.
“Yes, that is the plan (for Prabowo to attend the plenary),” said the Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Saan Mustopa, at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (19/5/2026).
Saan stated that Prabowo is intended to present the Macroeconomic Framework (KEM) and outline the main points of the fiscal policy (PPKF). “So, the presentation of the macroeconomic framework and the main points of fiscal policy will be delivered directly by the President,” he said.
The NasDem Party politician noted that this would mark Prabowo’s first appearance at a DPR plenary session.
The plenary session is scheduled to commence on Wednesday (20/5) at 09:00 WIB. The agenda includes the government’s presentation of the Macroeconomic Framework and the Main Points of Fiscal Policy for the 2027 State Budget Draft (RAPBN).
Other agenda items include a report from the DPR Legislative Body (Baleg) regarding the evaluation of the second amendment to the 2026 Priority National Legislation Programme (Prolegnas), followed by a decision-making process. The session will also continue with the presentation of faction opinions regarding the revision of the Law on the Amendment of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police, an initiative from Commission III, followed by a decision to proceed as a DPR-proposed Bill.
