DPR Secretary General Withdraws Pretrial Motion
Indra Iskandar, Secretary General of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR), a suspect in an alleged corruption case, has withdrawn the pretrial motion he filed at the South Jakarta District Court.
The information was published on the South Jakarta District Court’s Case Tracking Information System (SIPP), accessed on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.
“Hearing date: Tuesday, 10 February 2026. Agenda: ruling on withdrawal,” according to the SIPP record.
South Jakarta District Court spokesperson Rio Barten confirmed the matter. “That is correct. The applicant submitted a withdrawal request and the judge granted the withdrawal on 10 February 2026,” Rio said.
Indra Iskandar had previously sought to challenge the law enforcement process carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). His case was registered under number 7/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL.
Indra objected to being designated by the KPK as a suspect in the alleged corruption of procurement for DPR Members’ Official Residence (RJA) furnishings.
Indra had been summoned by the KPK on Friday, 24 October 2025 and Thursday, 5 February 2026, but failed to appear on both occasions.
During the ongoing investigation, the KPK has also examined a number of witnesses.
The KPK has designated a total of seven individuals as suspects in the case but has not yet officially announced their identities. The full case construction has also not been disclosed to the public.
The suspects are Indra Iskandar; Hiphi Hidupati, Head of the DPR Official Residence Management Division; Tanti Nugroho, President Director of PT Daya Indah Dinamika; Juanda Hasurungan Sidabutar, Director of PT Dwitunggal Bangun Persada; Kibun Roni, Operational Director of PT Avantgarde Production; Andrias Catur Prasetya, Project Manager of PT Integra Indocabinet; and Edwin Budiman, a private individual.
The suspects were previously subject to a six-month overseas travel ban lasting until July 2024.
Indra had also previously filed a pretrial motion at the South Jakarta District Court in May of last year, in which he challenged his suspect designation and the seizure of evidence by the KPK. However, shortly afterwards, Indra withdrew that pretrial motion as well.
Meanwhile, during the ongoing investigation, the KPK has raided at least four different locations across Jakarta, namely in Gatot Subroto, Tebet, Kemayoran, and Bintaro.
The premises searched included bureau and staff offices, as well as the Secretary General’s office at the DPR Secretariat General building.
The KPK seized a number of project documents and financial transaction records, including money transfer records.
According to research by CNNIndonesia.com on the DPR’s electronic procurement (LPSE) portal, in 2020 under the Secretariat General’s work unit, there were at least four procurement packages for DPR Members’ Official Residence furnishings.
These comprised: procurement for RJA DPR Ulujami with an estimated cost (HPS) of Rp10 billion; procurement for RJA DPR Kalibata Blocks A and B with an HPS of Rp39.7 billion; procurement for RJA DPR Kalibata Blocks C and D with an HPS of Rp37.7 billion; and procurement for RJA DPR Kalibata Blocks E and F with an HPS of Rp34 billion. All tenders were listed as completed.
