Jakarta - The leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR) held a meeting with the management of GoTo and Grab Indonesia at the Nusantara III Building, parliamentary complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/6/2026). The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker from the National Awakening Party faction, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, Deputy CEO of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo, and CEO of Grab Indonesia, Neneng Goenadi.

Dasco stated that the discussion focused on the implementation of the new commission rate for online two-wheeler transportation, which drivers have been anticipating. President Prabowo Subianto announced the change in the commission structure between application providers and their partners on 1 May 2026. The legal basis is Presidential Regulation Number 27 of 2026, which reduces the deduction from 20% to 8%. During the press conference, Catherine and Neneng confirmed that the application providers will begin implementing this regulation starting 1 July 2026. Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal emphasised the DPR’s commitment to overseeing the process and ensuring the President’s policy, which sides with online motorcycle taxi drivers, is fully enacted.
