The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) held its 22nd plenary session of the fifth sitting period for the 2025-2026 session year. A total of 293 members were recorded as being in attendance.

The session took place at the Nusantara II Building of the MPR/DPR/DPD complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/6/2026). The plenary was chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani.

Other DPR leaders present included Deputy Speakers Saan Mustopa and Sari Yuliati. Puan began by reading out the attendance list.

“According to the records of the DPR Secretariat General, the attendance list at the start of today’s DPR plenary session has been signed by 293 out of 579 DPR members and is attended by members from all factions within the DPR,” Puan stated.

“Thus, a quorum has been achieved, and by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, allow us as the leadership of the council to open the 22nd plenary session of the DPR for the fifth sitting period of the 2025-2026 session year,” she continued.

The agenda for today’s plenary session includes the presentation of the Audit Board of Indonesia’s (BPK) examination report on the 2025 central government financial statements (LHP LKPP). It also includes the report from Commission I on the fit-and-proper test results for candidates for the Central Information Commission (KIP) for the 2026-2030 period, followed by decision-making.

Today’s session agenda also covers faction opinions on 15 bills concerning regencies/cities proposed by Commission II, which will be followed by a decision to designate them as DPR-proposed bills, as well as the approval of a request for consideration regarding the granting of Indonesian citizenship, followed by decision-making.
