DPR Holds Plenary Session to Ratify the Bill on Amendments to Law No. 4 of 2023 Concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector, 139 Members of the Council Attend
The DPR held its 20th plenary session of the fifth session of the 2025-2026 parliamentary year. A total of 139 members of the DPR attended the plenary session.
The meeting was held at the Nusantara II building of the MPR/DPR/DPD, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (June 4, 2026). The plenary session was led by Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.
Also present at the session were other DPR leaders, namely Deputy Speakers Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal and Saan Mustopa. Dasco began by reading out the attendance of DPR members.
“According to the records of the DPR RI General Secretariat, the attendance list at the beginning of today’s DPR RI plenary session has been signed by 139 members, and 153 members have been granted leave, totaling 292 members out of the 579 DPR RI members from all factions in the DPR RI,” said Dasco.
“Thus, the quorum has been met, and by saying ‘Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,’ allow me, as the council’s leadership, to open the 20th plenary session of the DPR RI for the fifth session of the 2025-2026 parliamentary year,” he continued.

Level II Deliberation/Decision-Making on the Bill on Amendments to Law No. 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector.
Views of the Factions on the Macroeconomic Framework and Key Fiscal Policies of the State Budget Bill for the 2027 Fiscal Year.
