DPR Holds Plenary Session to Ratify PPRT Bill, 314 Members Present

The DPR held the 17th plenary meeting of the fourth session period in the 2025-2026 session year. A total of 314 DPR members attended the plenary meeting.

The meeting took place at the Nusantara II Building of the MPR/DPR/DPD in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/4/2026). The plenary session was chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani.

During the session, other DPR leaders were present, namely Deputy Speakers Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, and Saan Mustopa. Initially, Puan read out the attendance of DPR members.

“According to records from the DPR RI General Secretariat, the attendance list for today’s plenary meeting has been signed by 314 members out of 578 DPR RI members from all factions in the DPR RI,” Puan stated.

“Thus, quorum has been achieved, and with the utterance of bismillahirrahmanirrahim, allow us as the council leadership to open the 17th plenary meeting of the DPR RI for the fourth session period of the 2025-2026 session year, on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, and we declare it open and open to the public,” she continued.

The agenda for today’s meeting includes decision-making on the Bill on Witness and Victim Protection and the Bill on Domestic Worker Protection. In addition, the agenda includes the DPR Speaker’s speech at the Closing of the Fourth Session Period of the 2025-2026 Session Year.
