DPR Holds Plenary Session on OJK Supervisory Board Candidates and 2027 State Budget, 298 Members Present

The DPR held its 23rd plenary session of the fifth sitting period for the 2025-2026 session year. A total of 298 DPR members attended the plenary session. The session was held at the Nusantara II MPR/DPR/DPD building in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (2/7/2026). The plenary session was chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani. Other DPR leaders present included Deputy Speakers Saan Mustopa, Sari Yuliati, and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal. Initially, Puan read out the attendance list of DPR members. “According to records from the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, the attendance list at the commencement of today’s DPR RI plenary session has been signed by 298 members out of 579 DPR RI members and is attended by members from all factions within the DPR RI,” Puan stated. Puan then opened the plenary session. The session was conducted openly. “Thus, the quorum has been achieved, and by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, allow us as the leadership of the House to open the 23rd plenary session of the DPR RI for the fifth sitting period of the 2025-2026 session year,” she continued. The agendas for today’s plenary session are: 1. Report from the DPR RI Budget Committee on the results of the preliminary discussion of the 2027 State Budget Draft and the 2027 Government Work Plan. 2. Report from Commission XI of the DPR RI on the results of the fit-and-proper test for candidates for the Financial Services Authority Supervisory Board, followed by decision-making. 3. Submission of the Bill on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2025 State Budget by the Government.
