DPR Holds Coordination Meeting on Presidential Regulation for Online Motorcycle Taxi Tariff Split
The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) held a coordination meeting to discuss the presidential regulation regarding the tariff split for online motorcycle taxi (ojol) partners, which sets a 92 per cent share for drivers and a maximum 8 per cent share for application companies. The meeting took place at the Nusantara II Building of the DPR RI in Jakarta on Thursday. Following the coordination meeting, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the 92 and 8 per cent tariff split had actually been implemented starting 1 July 2026. However, he noted that improvements and a regulatory foundation are still required to optimise its implementation.
