DPR Hajj Oversight Team Inspects Hajj Command Centre: Impressive

The 2026 DPR Hajj Oversight Team inspected the Hajj Implementation Control Centre operated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Chairman of the 2026 DPR Hajj Oversight Team, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurizal, stated that the command centre is highly beneficial for the real-time monitoring of Indonesian pilgrims’ Hajj activities.

He said the command centre enables the government and the oversight team to track pilgrims’ movements in the Holy Land in real time.

“This year’s command centre is an improvement from last year, which could only track the percentage of pilgrims who had entered. Now, it can also monitor whether pilgrims are en route or have arrived at Arafah,” he said in Mecca on Monday (25 May).

Cucun added that real-time tracking allows for swift resolution of any delays in pilgrims’ movements.

“If issues arise, such as delays, data can be retrieved and tracked immediately,” he said.

Cucun praised the command centre’s system and expressed hope for further improvements in the future.
