DPR Hajj Monitoring Team Urges Sustained Hajj Services Until Pilgrims' Repatriation
DPR Hajj Monitoring Team member Danang Wicaksana has called for service quality for pilgrims to remain a priority until all repatriation processes are completed.
Danang, in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday, said service quality must not decline after the peak of Hajj rituals in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna).
“Service quality must not drop after the Armuzna phase,” he said.
He assessed that the critical phase of the 2026 Hajj during Armuzna has proceeded smoothly, with government and Hajj officials’ efforts aiding the smooth movement and service of pilgrims in the Holy Land.
Additionally, catering services in Mecca and Medina must be continuously monitored to ensure pilgrims’ needs are adequately met.
Danang requested that Shalawat bus operations, which have resumed, continue to provide optimal service, particularly to support pilgrim mobility to Masjidil Haram.
“Similarly, the repatriation flight process must be ensured to run smoothly, on time, and prioritise pilgrims’ safety and comfort,” he added.
Danang urged all stakeholders to maintain service quality until the conclusion of the 2026 Hajj, ensuring pilgrims complete their rituals and return to Indonesia safely and comfortably.
