DPR Deputy Speaker Dasco Meets OJK and IDX Chiefs to Discuss Stock Exchange Governance Reform

Leaders of the House of Representatives (DPR) held a meeting with officials from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and directors of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at the Nusantara III Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday evening (18/6/2026).

Attendees included Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Gerindra faction Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Golkar faction Sari Yuliati, OJK Chief Commissioner Friderica Widyasari Dewi, and IDX President Director Jeffrey Hendrik.

In a press statement following the meeting, Dasco explained that the DPR had conducted coordination with the leadership of the OJK and the new directors of the IDX. According to Dasco, the DPR has conveyed to the OJK the need for improved stock exchange supervision going forward.

“And we have reached common ground on several agreements, of course, for better exchange governance in the future,” he said.
