DPR Commission VII Holds Working Meeting with ANTARA, TVRI and RRI in Central Java

DPR Commission VII held a working meeting with the country’s three principal state media institutions at the TVRI Central Java studio in Batursari, Mranggen district, Demak regency, Central Java, on Friday (20/2/2026).

Deputy Chairpersons of Commission VII, Evita Nursanty and Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, led the parliamentary delegation, which met with ANTARA National News Agency President Director Benny Siga Butarbutar, TVRI President Director Iman Brotoseno, and RRI President Director Hendrasmo.

During the meeting, Butarbutar presented ANTARA’s briefing to the commission and also presented Nursanty and Saraswati with a copy of the Haluan Merah Putih photo book as a memento.

The Commission VII visit focused on the development of public broadcasting institutions (LPP) in Central Java and sought to encourage collaborative programmes between ANTARA, TVRI and RRI across various fields of information dissemination, including joint efforts to enliven coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, for which TVRI has secured broadcasting rights.
