DPR Approves 68 Bills to Amend the Priority Prolegnas for 2026; Here Is the List
The DPR plenary session has approved changes to the Prolegnas Priority Bills and the Prolegnas for 2025-2029. In total, 68 Bills will be the DPR’s priority for discussion in 2026. The decision was taken in the DPR plenary meeting at the legislative complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, with the session chaired by Deputy Speaker Saan Mustopa.
Initially, Baleg DPR Chair Bob Hasan was given the opportunity to present a report on the changes to the Prolegnas Priority and the Prolegnas for 2025-2029. Bob stated that there would be 68 Priority Prolegnas Bills and 198 Prolegnas Bills for 2025-2029.
After delivering the report, Saan asked the plenary whether the number of Priority Prolegnas Bills for 2026 and the Prolegnas Bills for 2025-2029 could be approved by the forum. “Thank you, we convey to the Chair of Baleg who has presented the report. Next, we will ask the honourable Council members whether the DPR’s Legislation Body’s report on the second amendment to the Prolegnas Priority Bills for 2026 can be approved?” Saan asked.
“Agree,” replied the plenary forum.
“This plenary session’s approval will be continued in accordance with the applicable mechanism,” continued Saan.
