DPR approves 14 supreme court and ad hoc justice candidates in plenary session
The Plenary Session of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/8), approved 14 candidates for supreme court justices and ad hoc judges at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia.
The approval was granted after Commission III of the DPR RI reported the results of the fit and proper test on the candidates previously proposed by the Judicial Commission.
The 14 names consist of 11 supreme court justice candidates, two ad hoc human rights (HAM) judge candidates, and one ad hoc corruption crime (Tipikor) judge candidate.
The approval was taken after Commission III of the DPR RI reported the results of the fit and proper test on the candidates, who were previously proposed by the Judicial Commission.

Furthermore, the results of the DPR RI’s approval will be processed in accordance with the prevailing regulations.
