Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad revealed the contents of a meeting with several ministers at the DPR. They discussed the implementation of the 8% cut for ride-hailing services and aspirations regarding the ride-hailing presidential regulation. “Yes, today we held another coordination meeting to perfect the Perpres on ride-hailing, which, God willing, is almost final. We have also heard from the National Ojol Coalition, receiving their input on how the tariff, from the implementation of the 92-8% split, has been running and its evaluation,” Dasco said after the meeting with ministers at the DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (23/7/2026). Dasco said the DPR and the government will hold another meeting regarding the ride-hailing Perpres, which is still being prepared. The meeting is planned for next week. “Earlier we agreed that the team will meet once more for finalisation,” he said. Meanwhile, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed the meeting served as an evaluation of the 8% cut for ride-hailing services. He said the cut has been in effect since 1 July 2026. “The important thing is that the President’s directive regarding the 92% and 8% tariff split has been implemented on the ground. So the National Ojol Coalition also conveyed that it has been applied since 1 July,” he said. Pras also confirmed that a meeting with the DPR will be held next week to finalise the ride-hailing Perpres. “Not yet, we will schedule it. Next week, next week,” he added.
