The House of Representatives (DPR) and the government held a coordination meeting to discuss the Draft Presidential Regulation on Online Motorcycle Taxis at Nusantara III Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (23/7/2026). Attendees included Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Gerindra Faction Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker from the Golkar Faction Sari Yuliati, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Maman Abdurrahman, Manpower Minister Yassierli, and Head of State-Owned Enterprise Regulation/COO of Danantara Indonesia Dony Oskaria.
‘Today we held another coordination meeting to finalise the presidential regulation on ojol, which, thank God, is nearly complete. We have agreed that the team will meet once more for finalisation,’ Dasco told reporters. Prasetyo added that the next meeting to complete the Draft Presidential Regulation on Ojol will be held next week, although the Gerindra Party politician could not confirm the exact timing. ‘Next week, so it can be settled quickly,’ Prasetyo said.
Prasetyo also explained the DPR and government’s meeting with the National Ojol Coalition. ‘We received input from them regarding how the tariff, which has been set at 92% to 8%, is being implemented and its evaluation,’ he stated. ‘The important thing is that the President’s directive regarding the real-world application of the 92% and 8% tariff split has been implemented. Our friends from the National Ojol Coalition also conveyed that it has been in effect since 1 July,’ he continued. However, Prasetyo noted that there are still some application providers that need to be disciplined.
