Bengkulu (ANTARA) - DPD RI Chairman Sultan B Najamudin has urged students to begin designing their future with clear planning to achieve life goals in a more directed and measurable manner.

“Do not leave your future to nature (fate); it must be planned,” said Sultan while motivating students at Muhammadiyah University Bengkulu in Bengkulu on Monday.

He stated that the current young generation has greater opportunities compared to previous generations, supported by technology, access to information, and better educational facilities.

“Dear juniors, you must no longer be like us. It must be by plan, by design. What you want to become can be planned, can be designed,” said Sultan.

He also stressed that success requires sacrifice and a long process, so students must build discipline and a learning spirit from an early stage.

“Bengkulu is no ordinary place. Indonesia’s great history is in Bengkulu,” said Sultan.

DPD RI Chairman Sultan B Najamudin visited Bengkulu Province with several work agendas, starting from a public lecture at Muhammadiyah University Bengkulu, regional food security programmes, the handover of PIP (Indonesia Pintar Programme) scholarships, to housing surgery assistance.
