Jakarta - As many as 32 large vehicles classified as Over Dimension & Over Loading (ODOL) were successfully apprehended in an enforcement operation carried out by Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad (RO1JNT), the operator of the Belawan–Medan–Tanjung Morawa toll road section. The operation, held on 16 April 2026 at the Belawan toll gate, involved several parties, including PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO), the North Sumatra Regional Police Traffic Directorate, the Belawan Naval Military Police (POMAL) of the Indonesian Navy, and the North Sumatra Region II Land Transportation Management Centre (BPTD). The activities began with stopping vehicles entering the Belawan toll gate, followed by physical measurements of the vehicles and weighing of their loads. Additionally, drivers were educated on the dangers of ODOL, both in terms of safety aspects and potential material losses. Of the total 32 vehicles apprehended, they were dominated by 23 container trucks, followed by 5 vehicles carrying cement, 3 carrying coal, and 1 carrying fertiliser.
