Dozens injured in university brawl

UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: At least 47 students had to be
taken to a hospital after a brawl broke out between students at
Hasanuddin University late Monday night.

Witnesses said the fight took place mainly between students
from the Technical and Sociopolitical faculties.

The cause of the brawl remains sketchy, but a longstanding
feud has been simmering since a big fight between students of the
two faculties in September 1992. (37)
