Downstreaming Investment Realisation Soars 43.3% to IDR 584.1 Trillion in 2025
Investment Minister and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani announced that downstreaming investment realisation throughout 2025 reached IDR 584.1 trillion, a 43.3% increase compared to the previous year. This sector contributed 30.2% to the total national investment realisation.
“Downstreaming investment realisation in 2025 reached IDR 584.1 trillion, growing 43.3% and contributing 30.2% to the total national investment realisation. 71.1% of this is located outside Java,” Rosan said during a hearing with Commission XII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Wednesday.
Overall, Indonesia’s total investment realisation for 2025 reached IDR 1,931.2 trillion, or 101.3% of the government’s target, representing a 12.7% growth compared to the previous year. This achievement also absorbed 2.71 million workers.
Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) dominated with a value of IDR 1,030.3 trillion, or 53.4% of the total, while Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) accounted for IDR 900.9 trillion, or 46.6%. Rosan noted that more than half of the total investment, 51.3% or IDR 991.2 trillion, flowed to regions outside Java, indicating increasingly equitable investment distribution across Indonesia.
