I bought a house in Bogor, West Java, from developer PT AM
(GPG). Although the house is situated on a corner plot with more
land than the other lots, I was informed by the marketing
department that I need not pay for the additional land. I paid
part of the down payment.

But when the developer started to process the contract
document, I was told to pay for the additional land, which
involves a lot of money. I refused to pay. As a consequence, the
transaction was canceled. I felt I was cheated. What perplexed me
was that my reimbursed down payment was deducted by 15 percent
and my booking fee was simply ignored. Why should I suffer from
this injustice? Could the director of the company explain?
