The State-Owned Enterprise Supervisory Board (BP BUMN) is encouraging Pelindo to strengthen its role as the backbone of national logistics connectivity through improved performance, strengthened governance, and the development of a more integrated and efficiency-oriented business model. BP BUMN Head Dony Oskaria stated that the business transformation and governance strengthening implemented by Pelindo continue to show positive results. As of May 2026, Pelindo recorded a year-to-date profit of Rp2.01 trillion, an increase of 94% compared to the same period the previous year. In the same period, the company’s revenue reached Rp15.21 trillion, growing 11% year-on-year. According to him, this reflects increased operational effectiveness and increasingly strong business performance. Dony, who also serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), held a meeting with Pelindo President Director Achmad Muchtasyar and Pelindo Deputy President Director on 17 June 2026. The meeting discussed the company’s performance developments as well as strategic steps to strengthen the corporate structure and improve the effectiveness of port business management. The meeting also discussed the development of a regional and business-line-based corporate model (hybrid model) designed to balance local market needs with the provision of integrated cross-regional services. This approach is expected to strengthen operational coordination, improve service quality, optimise asset utilisation, and create port management that is more adaptive to customer needs and developments in the logistics industry. “Strengthening governance and the business model is an important foundation for Pelindo to become more competitive and able to support national logistics connectivity,” he said in an official statement. He explained that with a port network spread across Indonesia, Pelindo holds an important role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods and supporting national trade activities. “Strengthening the corporate structure and a more effective business model is expected to accelerate the creation of an increasingly efficient and competitive logistics ecosystem, capable of supporting sustainable national economic growth,” he concluded.
