Chief Operating Officer of the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), Dony Oskaria, has stated he will directly oversee the compliance of state-owned enterprise (SOE) directors in submitting their State Officials’ Wealth Reports (LHKPN).

‘I will personally control the compliance of LHKPN submissions, and we expect them to be on time because we will give no tolerance,’ Dony said following a meeting between Danantara and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at the KPK Anti-Corruption Education Centre in Jakarta on Monday.

According to Dony, all state officials within the SOE environment are obliged to report their assets in accordance with applicable regulations. Therefore, Danantara will ensure all directors and officials required to report fulfil this obligation in a timely manner.

On the same occasion, KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Aminudin stressed that all SOE directors or management, including foreign nationals, are still required to submit their LHKPN. ‘So, that includes foreign nationals. Even though they are foreign nationals, they are now in a position as top management in an SOE,’ said Aminudin.

He said the KPK has provided technical guidance to a number of foreign nationals holding strategic positions in SOEs to ensure compliance with the reporting obligation. Currently, SOEs with foreign national directors include PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) and PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI). At Garuda Indonesia, the foreign national directors serving are Director of Finance and Risk Management Balagopal Kunduvara and Director of Transformation Neil Raymond Mills. Meanwhile, at PT DSI, the position of president director is held by Luke Thomas Mahony.
