Dony Oskaria Convenes Telkom and Telkomsel Executives to Discuss Digital Transformation

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Head of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Agency and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, held a meeting with the President Commissioner of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Angga Raka Prabowo, and the board of directors of Telkomsel.

The meeting addressed performance progress and the transformation of the national telecommunications sector, specifically regarding the promotion of digital innovation to support Indonesia’s economic growth.

This was revealed in a post on the official Instagram account of BUMN Indonesia on Monday (18/05/2026).

During the discussions, the primary focus was directed towards accelerating digital transformation, strengthening connectivity infrastructure, and developing digital services deemed capable of supporting the needs of the community and national economic activities.

The SOE Agency also emphasised the importance of cross-sector synergy to strengthen Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, making it more modern and inclusive.

Furthermore, strengthening collaboration within the telecommunications sector is expected to deliver technological services that are faster, more secure, and more evenly distributed across the population.

“This step is part of our commitment to driving digital transformation in the telecommunications sector, which will have a real impact on Indonesia’s progress,” the account wrote.

The meeting took place amidst government efforts to accelerate national digitalisation, ranging from strengthening connectivity networks to developing digital services to support technology-based economic growth.
