The figure of Doni Salmanan, previously known as ‘Crazy Rich Soreang’, has now been released from his sentence. He was previously imprisoned at the Class IIA Narcotics Prison in Bandung (Jelekong) for a fraud case involving the Quotex binary options trading platform.

Head of the Community Development Division of the West Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Kusnali, stated that Doni has been on parole since Monday (6/4).

“On Monday, 6 April 2026, the inmate named Doni Muhammad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan received PB (conditional release) based on the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Kusnali, quoted from detikJabar, Thursday (9/4/2026).

As is known, Doni Salmanan began detention on 9 March 2022 with a sentence of eight years in accordance with the verdict of the panel of judges up to the Review level (PK) at the Supreme Court.

Doni Salmanan received a remission of 13 months and 105 days. However, Doni is still required to carry out mandatory reporting to the Bandung Community Guidance Office (Bapas).

“Previously, during his sentence, the individual had behaved well based on the Inmate Development Assessment System, with a total remission of 13 months and 105 days,” he concluded.
