Donggala Regency Involves Law Enforcement and Academics to Oversee KNMP Development

The Donggala Regency Government, Central Sulawesi, is involving law enforcement agencies (APH), such as the police and prosecution service, as well as academics, to strengthen coordination and supervision in the development of the Red and White Fisherman Village (KNMP) in the region.

“This step is intended to ensure that all stakeholders can synergise, monitor, and ensure that every stage of the KNMP development proceeds in accordance with their respective duties, functions, and authorities,” said the Regent of Donggala, Vera Elena Laruni, in Banawa on Sunday.

She emphasised the importance of involving external agencies to guarantee transparency, accountability, and the smooth execution of every phase of the KNMP development in Donggala.

The acceleration team consists of regional leaders and law enforcement officials, including the Regent, Vice Regent of Donggala, the Chairperson of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Police Chief, the District Attorney, the Kodim 1306 Palu City, and the Regional Secretary of Donggala Regency.

She noted that the involvement of law enforcement elements and academics is expected to anticipate potential technical obstacles as well as administrative governance issues during the programme’s implementation.

It is reported that the total development of the KNMP in Donggala Regency for the year 2026 will span six locations, namely Boneoge, Ganti, Wani, Lerotari, Batusuya, and Pangalaseang.
