Donald Trump: Without the US, Israel Would Not Exist!

US President Donald Trump has criticised Israel’s military actions in Lebanon, stating that Israel has been fighting Hezbollah for too long and that many people have been killed.

“You do not need to demolish apartment buildings every time you are looking for someone because there are many people in those apartment buildings – and they are not all members of Hezbollah,” the US President said on Tuesday (16/06/2026).

“I suggest to Israel to let Syria handle Hezbollah because, to be honest, I think they would do a better job,” Trump emphasised.

Trump continued by stating that without the US, there would be no Israel, claiming that no president in any other country would be willing to act as he has. “Without me, there would be no Israel, because no other president would be willing to do what I do.”

Despite his disapproval of Israel’s current steps, the American businessman admitted that he maintains a good relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump urged the Israeli Prime Minister to act with greater responsibility towards Lebanon.
