Donald Trump: Without the US, Israel Would Not Exist!

US President Donald Trump has criticised Israel’s military actions in Lebanon, stating that Israel has been fighting Hizbullah for too long and that many people have been killed. “You don’t need to knock down an apartment building every time you’re looking for someone, because there are a lot of people in those apartment buildings – and they’re not all Hizbullah members,” the US president said on Tuesday (16/6/2026). “I suggested to Israel to let Syria handle Hizbullah because, honestly, I think they would do a better job,” Trump emphasised. Trump continued, saying that without the US, Israel would not exist. No other president in any other country would be willing to do what he has done. “Without me, there would be no Israel, because no other president was willing to do what I did.” Despite his disapproval of Israel’s actions, the American businessman admitted he still maintains a good relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump urged the Israeli prime minister to be more responsible towards Lebanon.
