Don Ritto Transferred to Attorney General's Office, Remains Silent in Case Involving Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah

The handling of the alleged corruption and money laundering case involving Don Ritto has entered a new phase. The suspect, whose case also implicates former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah, was transferred to the Attorney General’s Office on Friday, 17 July 2026. Based on observations at the Metro Jaya Police detention centre, Ritto emerged around 1:45 PM Western Indonesian Time wearing an orange detainee vest. His hands appeared handcuffed as officers escorted him towards a waiting vehicle. When approached by the media, Don Ritto did not provide any statement. He simply walked with his head bowed towards the vehicle that would take him to the Attorney General’s Office. The transfer of Don Ritto was carried out after the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps handed over the handling of the case, which also involves Febrie Adriansyah, to the Attorney General’s Office. The Head of the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, stated that the decision was the result of an agreement between the Police and the Attorney General’s Office as a form of strengthening synergy in law enforcement. The case handover occurred after investigators named Febrie Adriansyah and a private party, Don Ritto, as suspects in alleged corruption and money laundering. The suspects were named following a case review based on the results of the investigation and inquiry that had been conducted.
