Dompu Regency Receives Additional Rp 136.896 Billion in Regional Transfer Funds

The Dompu Regency Government in West Nusa Tenggara has received an additional budget allocation through the central government’s Regional Transfer Fund amounting to Rp 136.8 billion. The funds will be used to support regional administration amid fiscal constraints.

Head of the Dompu Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, Muhammad Syahroni, said the additional transfer funds consist of Rp 66.088 billion from the General Allocation Fund and Rp 74.807 billion in underpaid revenue-sharing funds.

“The total additional revenue for Dompu Regency sourced from the adjustment of the General Allocation Fund allocation details and the disbursement of underpaid revenue-sharing funds amounts to Rp 136,896,006,000,” Syahroni explained.

Syahroni revealed that the additional transfer funds were disbursed in accordance with Minister of Finance Decree Number 198 of 2026 concerning the Adjustment of Allocation Details and Disbursement of the General Allocation Fund for 2026.

According to Syahroni, this is a response from the central government to complaints from regional governments. Regional governments, he explained, often complain about difficulties in meeting civil servant payroll needs and limited regional fiscal capacity in administering regional governance.

“The additional transfer funds through this Minister of Finance Decree represent central government support to ensure smoother regional administration, prioritising the fulfilment of regional employee payroll and the delivery of basic public services by regional governments,” Syahroni explained.

Syahroni said the additional transfer funds will be used for regional administration, prioritising regional employee payroll and activities to fulfil basic public services.

“Regarding the details of activities, this must of course be discussed jointly between the executive and legislative branches and must be reflected in the revised regional budget document,” Syahroni stressed.
