Dompu Regency Government Opens Recruitment for Regional Secretary

Dompu Regency Government is holding an open selection process for the post of regional secretary. The senior leadership position was formally advertised on Monday afternoon, 19 October 2026.

Dompu Civil Service Agency head Azuardana said the announcement, numbered 003/PANSEL.JPT-SEKDA-DPU/2026, was signed by the selection committee chaired by former Dompu Regional Secretary Gatot Gunawan Perantauan Putra.

“The open selection announcement was issued on Monday afternoon and uploaded to the official website of the Dompu Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency,” Azuardana told reporters on Tuesday, 20 October 2026.

Applications for the Dompu regional secretary post are open from 19 October to 2 November 2026. The selected official is scheduled to be inaugurated in early December 2026.

Azuardana said the selection was a crucial step in filling the regency’s most senior administrative post, which has been occupied by acting and interim officials for the past nine months.

“Since December 2025, the regional secretary’s post has not had a permanent incumbent. The position was previously handled through the appointment of an acting official,” Azuardana said.

The post is currently held on an interim basis by Khairul Insan, the Regent’s Expert Staff member for Economic Affairs. Khairul had previously served as acting regional secretary for two terms, or six months.
