Dompet Dhuafa Sulsel Distributes Iftar Packages to 1,000 Refugees in Northern Gaza

Dompet Dhuafa Sulawesi Selatan distributed humanitarian assistance in the form of iftar packages for 1,000 refugees at the Ahl Al-Shamal Refugee Center in Northern Gaza on Monday, 2 March 2026.

The programme was carried out with the support of Dompet Dhuafa Sulawesi Selatan’s strategic partners and the participation of South Sulawesi communities who entrusted humanitarian donations for Palestine. The iftar aid was distributed directly to the refugees at the shelter site, with the distribution process conducted in an orderly, coordinated, and targeted manner.

This distribution forms part of Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment to delivering measurable humanitarian responses, especially during Ramadan. During Ramadan, food needs increase amid limited access and the ongoing emergency situation in Northern Gaza.

The head of the Dompet Dhuafa South Sulawesi branch said the programme represents the organisation’s accountability in managing public‑trusted donations.
