Dompet Dhuafa Qurbani Distribution Reaches 2,504,748 Beneficiaries

The joy of Eid al-Adha 1447 H has arrived, with Muslims worldwide celebrating the holiday and performing the Qurbani sacrifice as an act of devotion to Allah SWT. Dompet Dhuafa, a pioneer in Qurbani programmes that distributes meat to the remote corners of the Indonesian archipelago and abroad, recorded positive achievements during this year’s Eid al-Adha momentum.

Data as of 30 May 2026, at 15:55 WIB, for the 1447 H Qurbani period, shows that Dompet Dhuafa recorded a national growth in Qurbani collection of 12.93 per cent, equivalent to 40,204 sheep/goats. This achievement successfully reached 2,504,748 beneficiaries. These figures stem from the ‘Tebar Hewan Kurban’ (Distributing Qurbani Animals) Programme, which collected 28,740 sheep/goats, and the Qurbani Network Partners, which contributed 11,464 sheep/goats.

In addition to recording positive growth in national collections, Dompet Dhuafa also successfully distributed Qurbani meat to various countries, including Palestine, Sudan, Somalia, and Myanmar. Within Indonesia, Dompet Dhuafa’s distribution reached 25 provinces, 106 regencies/cities, 468 districts, and 750 villages/sub-districts.

“Alhamdulillah, we offer our gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessings of this year’s Qurbani. We also thank all Dompet Dhuafa personnel and the public who have entrusted their Qurbani to Dompet Dhuafa. As a pioneer in distributing Qurbani to the remote parts of the country, this 12.93 per cent growth achievement is proof that public trust in Dompet Dhuafa remains maintained, especially amidst the current challenging economic conditions,” said Ahmad Juwaini, Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Board.

To expand the distribution of Qurbani meat to remote areas, Dompet Dhuafa has initiated the ‘Tebar Hewan Kurban’ Programme since 1994. This programme aims to distribute Qurbani animals to remote regions, 3T areas (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost), disaster-affected areas, and global humanitarian crisis zones such as Palestine, Somalia, and Sudan.

“Through this Qurbani programme, Dompet Dhuafa remains committed to bringing the blessings of Qurbani meat to those in need. On Saturday, 30 May 2026, at 15:55 WIB, we officially closed the 1447 H Qurbani collection. We have ensured that all received Qurbani animals were slaughtered and distributed precisely to the intended targets. Thank you to the donors who have provided the best vehicles of kindness through Qurbani this year and shared their blessings with 2,504,748 beneficiaries,” said Ahmad Juwaini.

The Head of the Dompet Dhuafa 1447 H Qurbani Programme, Ali Bastoni, stated that the success of this year’s programme was inseparable from the collaboration of various parties. This included the breakthrough of introducing camel Qurbani for distribution in Somalia, which reached 46 animals.

Symbols of the best Qurbani were also present in Dompet Dhuafa’s ‘Zona Madina’, featuring a 1.2-tonne cow Qurbani capable of reaching more than 400 beneficiary families in the Kemang, Parung, Bogor area.
