REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, GAZA – Amidst the clean water crisis during Ramadan 1447 H, Dompet Dhuafa continues to provide assistance in the form of clean water trucks, distributing 10,000 litres each in Khan Younis and Gaza City.

The residents of Gaza, who still reside in refugee camps, were delighted to receive the clean water, as it is a vital necessity during Ramadan.

Shofa Qudus, Head of the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) at Dompet Dhuafa, expressed gratitude, stating that on Wednesday (25/2/2026), thanks to the trust and donations, especially from the people of Indonesia, they were able to successfully distribute the aid, including clean water.

“Every container filled with water is not just ordinary water; this aid is a symbol of humanity that never stops,” said Shofa. He thanked all the donors, whose kindness transcends borders and serves as a testament to their love for their brothers and sisters in Gaza.

“God willing, this kindness will not stop here. The trust that has been entrusted will continue to support various humanitarian programmes,” added Shofa.

Many children and adults lined up with various containers to collect the water. This enthusiasm serves as a driving force to continue providing humanitarian aid, especially basic necessities for the residents of Gaza and its surrounding areas.

In addition, Dompet Dhuafa distributed food packages for iftar and suhoor meals to the residents of Gaza.

The food packages contained 350 grams of rice and 100 grams of minced meat. “In Gaza City, we distributed 500 portions, while in Khan Younis, we distributed 240 portions,” concluded Shofa.
