Dompet Dhuafa Connects Orphans with Mentors Through 'Ruang Mimpi' Programme

Dompet Dhuafa brought together dozens of orphans with content creators, influencers, and community members in the ‘Ruang Mimpi: Turn Your Wishes into Vision’ programme. Through this activity, the children were invited to create vision boards while receiving mentorship to encourage them to pursue their dreams.

General Manager of Marketing Communication at Dompet Dhuafa, Suci Qadarsini, said the programme was held at the Aria Putra Utama Foundation in Ciputat, South Tangerang, on Tuesday (21/7/2026). The event connected 25 orphans of junior and senior high school age with 25 content creators, influencers, bloggers, and community representatives serving as mentors.

Suci stated that the programme provides a space for orphans to build the belief that limitations are not a barrier to achieving their dreams. “Today we are bringing together these young orphans, who are under Dompet Dhuafa’s partner foundations and are of junior and senior high school age, with creators, influencers, and communities to connect their dreams,” Suci told Republika at the Aria Putra Utama Foundation on Tuesday (21/7/2026).

According to her, the name ‘Ruang Mimpi’ (Dream Room) was chosen because many orphans have big dreams but often face limited access and opportunities. “These orphans may feel their dreams are too big. But we want to instil the belief that no dream is too big for them to achieve,” she said.
