Domestic ASN Business Trips Cut by 50%, Overseas by 70%

The government has issued a policy to mitigate risks and anticipate global dynamics. One of these is budget efficiency for both domestic and overseas business trips. “Efficiency of domestic business trips by 50% and overseas by 70%,” stated Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto during a press conference on Tuesday (31/3/2026). The government is also implementing work from home (WFH) for central and regional civil servants every Friday. Official vehicle mobility is cut by 50% and the use of public transportation is encouraged. In general, Airlangga added that the Indonesian economy is stable with strong fundamentals. Oil fuel stocks are secure and fiscal stability is maintained.
