Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo inaugurated seven mid-level high-ranking Echelon I officials within the Ministry of PU on Friday (1/5) at the Main Building of the Ministry of PU.

Dody stated that this inauguration is part of efforts to strengthen the organisation and adjust the institutional structure to support the implementation of government priority programmes.

The seven officials inaugurated consist of the Secretary General, Director General, Head of Agency, and Minister’s Special Staff, who are expected to strengthen the implementation of strategic tasks within the Ministry of PU.

The officials inaugurated are:

  1. Apri Artoto as Secretary General

  2. Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw as Director General of Water Resources

  3. Bisma Staniarto as Head of the Human Resource Development Agency

  4. Adenan Rasyid as Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency

  5. Rachman Arief Dienaputra as Minister’s Special Staff for Social Culture and Community Role

  6. Indro Pantja Pramodo as Minister’s Special Staff for Economy and Investment

  7. Pantja Dharma Oetojo as Minister’s Special Staff for Development Integration

In his speech, Dody conveyed that organisational strengthening is not merely about arranging positions, but part of efforts to build statecraft, namely the skill in managing state policies and ensuring every programme runs effectively and truly benefits society.

“The Ministry of PU is expected to continue delivering works that benefit society, not only in terms of process but also results that can be felt tangibly,” said Dody in an official statement, quoted by CNBC Indonesia on Friday (1/5/2026).

He also emphasised President Prabowo’s message that one of the three foundations of Statecraft lies in a solid and clean civil service apparatus. Civil servants are demanded not only to be competent but also to have integrity, be solid, and consistently maintain public trust.

“The Ministry of PU needs to continue pushing for improvements in governance and strengthening the integrity of civil servants consistently. These efforts are expected to create a professional work environment and encourage the emergence of talents that contribute positively,” he stated.

According to him, professionalism and integrity must go hand in hand, enabling the creation of a healthy, adaptive work environment oriented towards results.

“I congratulate you on your duties. May this trust be carried out to the best of ability. May Allah SWT always provide guidance and strength in every step we take,” Dody concluded.
